SEP Program

The Supplemental Examiner Point (SEP) Program rewards member companies whose staff volunteer as Supplemental Examiners (SEs) for ACI Certification exams. We value your time and commitment to supporting others in achieving ACI certification. In addition to providing lunches and gift cards to individual SEs, the SEP Program allows companies to earn points redeemable for ACI exam registrations.

• Earning: Each SE earns 1 SEP per session they assist with (exam or training).
• Expiration: SEPs expire after 2 years.
• Eligibility: All companies (member and non-member) earn SEPs, but only CRMCA & CSSGA member companies can redeem them.

Member companies can use SEPs to cover the following ACI exam registrations (based on Denver pricing):

• Concrete Field Testing Technician—Grade I: 3 SEPs
• Concrete Strength Testing Technician: 3 SEPs
• Aggregate Testing Technician—Level 1: 4 SEPs

Note: For non-Denver exams, any price difference must be paid by credit card or ACH at registration.

To redeem SEPs for an exam registration:

1. Ensure sufficient SEPs are banked and the exam registration is not already paid.
2. Email aci@coloradocaa.org with:
   • Company Name
   • Registrant First & Last Name
   • Registrant Email
   • Exam Type
   • Exam Date (must be open for registration; opens ~6 weeks prior, around the 1st and 15th of each month)
3. CRMCA will provide a code and expiration date if the request is valid.
4. Enter the code in the Coupon Code field during registration before the code expires.

• Commitment: Register only for sessions you can attend, as we rely heavily on SEs.
• Flexibility: Modify registrations anytime to add or remove dates as your schedule allows.
• Cancellations: Notify us promptly at aci@coloradocaa.org if you cannot assist, so we can arrange a replacement.

Are workbooks included with SEP registrations?
No, workbooks must be purchased separately via the CRMCA website.

Can non-member companies participate?
All companies earn SEPs, but only CRMCA & CSSGA members can redeem them. Non-members who join can redeem previously earned active SEPs.

Can SEPs cover retake registrations?
Yes, but redeeming 3 or 4 SEPs for a retake forfeits the unused portion of the full exam value.

Can SEPs be used for workbooks or non-ACI events?
No, SEPs are only valid for the specified ACI exam registrations.
