Cancellation & Transfer Policy
All transfer and cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to aci@coloradocaa.org and received at least 5 business days before the scheduled exam date to be eligible for a refund or credit. Verbal requests will not be accepted. No Shows and requests received with less than 5 business days’ notice are not eligible for any refund or credit.
Approved transfers or cancellations may be subject to a fee of up to 50% of the registration cost at CRMCA’s sole discretion.
Note: A transfer refers to changing a registration for an individual from one scheduled exam date to another, without making any other changes to the registration. Transfers will only be granted if the requested session is open for registration and not at capacity. If these conditions are not met, the request will be processed as a cancellation under the terms above.
Due to system limitations, transfers cannot be made from one registration event to another. [Registration events are specific to each exam, training, or combined set of exams (such as Strength & Aggregate 1 or the Advanced Lab offering) and run from January through July and August through December.] Any request to move a registration into a different registration event will be processed as a cancellation under the terms above.
Any credits on file at the time of CRMCA’s summer ACI hiatus or at the end of the calendar year will be refunded to the original payment method due to system limitations.
Registration Reassignment Policy
A registration reassignment refers to the reassignment of a complete registration record from one individual to another with no other changes to the registration. Registration reassignments must meet system requirements and must be submitted in writing to aci@coloradocaa.org with all of the requested details (see below) in order to be considered and processed. If approved, registration reassignments are free of charge.
Because this process requires the complete reassignment of an existing registration record to someone else, the following conditions must be met in order to meet system requirements:
- The existing registration record must only contain the specific registration item(s) that need to be reassigned to the replacement registrant (e.g., if the registration receipt shows more than just the upcoming exam/training, even if the previous registration was cancelled, the record is not eligible for a registration reassignment).
- The replacement registrant cannot already have a registration record for the exam/training type, even if the previous registration was cancelled.
If these conditions are not met, the request will be processed as a cancellation under the terms of the Cancellation & Transfer Policy and the replacement registrant will have to be registered through the standard registration processes.
To request a Registration Reassignment, please email aci@coloradocaa.org with the following:
- Current Registrant Details

- Exam/Training date (including Group A/B if applicable)

- Mobile phone number

- Emergency Contact name

All final registrant details must be submitted no less than 3 business days before the exam to ensure accurate on-site and ACI records.
Payment Policy
A 3.05% processing fee applies to all credit card transactions. This fee does not exceed the standard rates charged by Stripe for payment processing. Credit card processing fees are not eligible for refund.
All registration costs and processing fees must be paid in full by credit card at the time of registration. If a payment is cancelled, declined, or otherwise incomplete after registration, an alternate payment method must be provided immediately upon notification to ensure payment in full. This obligation applies regardless of exam outcome or whether the exam date has already passed.
Any additional costs incurred due to registration changes, modifications, or additions must be paid in full at the time they occur.
Coupon codes must be entered during registration to be valid. Once payment has been completed, coupon codes cannot be applied retroactively to the registration.
Workbook Policies
Workbooks are not included with registration. Workbooks are available for purchase separately on our website or through the ACI Bookstore.
Per ACI Policy:
“Candidates choosing to use resource materials must possess either official/original ACI-printed materials or printed permission from the copyright holder accompanying their printed/photocopied materials.”
As a Local Sponsoring Group for ACI certifications, CRMCA is required to enforce this policy by confiscating unauthorized copies of ACI materials and ensuring all candidates use only official ACI-printed or properly authorized resources.
Additional Notice
Participation in a CRMCA ACI program does not guarantee certification or employment, even if certification is attained. Employment opportunities may vary by location and are subject to the laws and ordinances of each jurisdiction.
