Committee Overview

The Education & Outreach Committee is a joint committee shared by CRMCA and CSSGA, dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of the construction materials industry and promoting careers in concrete and aggregate operations. This committee serves as the industry’s public-facing voice—supporting workforce development, student engagement, and educational programming that builds long-term industry sustainability.

By engaging with schools, trade programs, and community stakeholders, the committee helps cultivate the next generation of ready mixed concrete professionals and strengthens the industry’s reputation across Colorado.


Key Initiatives

  • Workforce Development & Career Promotion: Highlight career opportunities within the concrete and construction materials industries through school outreach, career fairs, and industry events.
  • Partnerships with Trade Schools & Educators: Collaborate with high schools, community colleges, and workforce centers to develop programming and pathways into industry-related careers.
  • Public Awareness & Educational Campaigns: Distribute resources and participate in events to educate the public and policymakers about the industry's role in Colorado's economy and infrastructure.
  • Outreach Materials & Classroom Resources: Create and share presentations, classroom materials, and career flyers to support school programs and industry speakers.
