With the start of Fall and the construction season in its typical push before the snow flies, I hope you are all doing well. We had a great Summer Conference and I am hoping to get everyone to tie into a really important event we have coming on October 15th, our “Build Strength with ICF Townhall.” We need everyone to promote this event to build up the potential contractors we will need as we start flipping wood frame structures to concrete.
This event has been put together by the CRMCA’s statewide ICF task force and has a killer line up to be a premier event. We have worked with NRMCA to help us coordinate the event and it will hopefully be duplicated all over the country after our event. The event is on Oct. 15th from 10am-2pm at the Double Tree by Hilton – Denver (Quebec & Martin Luther King Dr.) This event is for anyone who might want to expand their business into ICF or existing ICF contractors. The Townhall is designed to help show them how they can make money in this field and all the resources available to help make them successful.
Who should you invite? Commercial foundation companies, residential ICF contractors, masonry contractors, all around concrete contractors, etc. Here is a link to the flier and the link for the townhall registration. This townhall is free and includes lunch. We want to fill the room with contractors, please note this is not meant to be an association crowd.
Why is this event going to be so good? We are going to have a variety of speakers and show contractors what is possible and what is being done to create opportunities for them to grow this business in Colorado. We will show how CRMCA is working to create leads to flip buildings/schools from wood to concrete. We will have NRMCA here to explain the Design Center in depth. We have a Kentucky ICF contractor to explain how he has grown his business with ICF. The ICFMA will be here to explain all the technical support they are willing to give to contractors.
If we don’t have enough contractors available in Colorado when we start flipping projects, it could be catastrophic to our efforts. So, please get this out to every contractor you know and let’s make this a great event. Thank you for everything you do to make our association great!
