Please join the CRMCA as it hosts a webinar on the history and future of fly ash and other alternate pozzolanic/cementitious materials. There is much concern about the future availability of fly ash, our current predominant Supplementary Cementitious Material (SCM) in the Western US, and we’re all looking to “Cover our Ash.”
Our diverse group of presenters will address the current state usage of fly ash and other SCM’s, and how that relates to new developments & likely alternatives. We’ll take a look at potential opportunities and challenges to exploring/accommodating alternatives. This webinar will serve as an intro to a broader series. The order and depth of future topics will be determined by stakeholder interest and the potential for positive impact for Colorado concrete producers.
