Submit Your Photos for the 2024 ConRock Colorado Magazine Cover

 

Winning photo will receive a $500 cash prize!

Submit your photo submission by the deadline on August 30, 2024.

Submit a picture of an aggregate mining or concrete construction project to be featured on the cover of Colorado Ready Mixed Concrete and Colorado Stone, Sand & Gravel Association’s ConRock Colorado magazine.

All commercial/industrial buildings, public works, residential construction, mining/reclamation activities, and infrastructure projects will be considered. Projects do NOT have to be complete to be entered in the contest, we are just looking for a great photo that represents the industries and the following theme: Concrete/Aggregate Every Day.

This year we’d like to showcase that our products are being produced and sold everyday, all around us! The state and all it’s residents use concrete and aggregates in their daily lives and interact with it everyday. Let’s showcase how our industry operates everyday throughout Colorado. Whether you’re working in the mountains, in the middle of a city downtown, through changing weather, etc. Show us how your job sites/operations interact with Colorado communities every day.

Judgement Criteria:

Submissions will be judged on the following:

• Ability to illustrate the theme: “Concrete/Aggregate Every Day”
• Ability to showcase the aggregate mining and/or ready mixed concrete industry in Colorado
• Uniqueness of project
• Creative use of imagery

Details:

• Contestants must include 5 pictures of their project in a .jpg or .png file (at least 300 dpi at an 8.5×11 size) along with a maximum of 250 words describing the project and how it relates to the above criteria.
• The contest is open to current CSSGA and CRMCA members including producers, associates, and contractors.
• Cash prize of $500 will be awarded once all nominations have been submitted and a winner is selected.
