March 7-13 is Women in Construction Week! Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to interact with many of these hardworking, fierce, assertive, and perceptive women in the concrete construction industry. I interviewed two women leaders in the construction industry to learn more about their experiences.
The session on April 5 will focus on the progress of 3D printing with concrete. Topics covered will include: an overview of 3D printing technologies for technologies, ACI and ASTM activities to develop guidelines and standards, and case studies that span over 5-years.
The members of the CRMCA are continuing the momentum by developing better concrete and testing ideas born of quarantine. In the age of Zoom and WebEx, the CRMCA Committees evolved and are currently developing multiple opportunities for industry education on advances and new concrete developments.
