April 25, 2020 has been proclaimed as “Concrete Day” in Colorado by Governor Polis. Typically, the CRMCA and our partners at the American Concrete Paving Association – CO/WY Chapter and the American Concrete Pipe Association celebrate the hard work of our Governor, legislators, and our industry’s employees. This year, we want to extend a huge thanks to Governor Polis, the members of the Colorado General Assembly, and the concrete industry employees who have kept this state running during the pandemic. We appreciate your hard work and look forward to celebrating with you all in the future.
Governor Jared Polis acknowledged Concrete Day saying, “We know this is a difficult time for all Coloradans. Though we are physically distant, it doesn’t mean we have to be socially distant. Concrete Day at the Capitol is always one to look forward to, and even though we can’t celebrate together this year, we recognize the significant impact this industry continues to have on our state.”
